They are taking out Random Arena, Team Arena, and Hero Battle. Those will be replaced with Sealed Deck Tournament. Although there has been many attempts by ArenaNet to find a solution to the problems, they have decided to just do away with them.

Meanwhile, they are letting players do whatever they want in those PvP areas.

I think it's a 4v4 battle with random skill bars assigned to each player.

nope, it's random skills, in which you have a make a build out of, both teams will get the same skills

hero battles are being taken out because of the /roll when it worked, the current red resign, and because of these ease with which the tournament matches are manipulated.

Basically, hb and ta are broken. Hb had the /rollers first, now the red resigns so it's impossible to make people actually fight if they want to earn their title points. Ta is just gimmick builds fighting gimmick builds, with occasional mixed teams from ra.

They're not taking ra out, because they've made it harder to sync and thus cheat your way into points.

their reasoning is actually because it's dead

and RA is staying they didn't say anything about it being removed
